Since it is not PC to use stronger words that hold a negative connotation about a person's race such as the N word, people have resorted to other, words the imply the same thing, but are not directly related to a person of that race. Examples include illegals (Hispanics), gangstas, hoodlums, or ghetto (blacks and sometimes Hispanics), and douchebags or hipsters (white) to name a few. I think that is what is being protested.

Imagine if they all turned into vampires and sucked your blood while you were sleeping and you never found out about it because no one caught them.

Forrest is an idiot. Did he really just say that lacrosse players are the ones that don't make the football team? He should stick to parading around Panama naked.

Member of the football and lacrosse HOF, running back Jim Brown is probably the best known lacrosse player and he said that football was his second sport. He was a college all-american in both sports. They even made a rule up because of his dominance. Junior Seau's kid play lacrosse and are damn good at it. Marshall Faulk played lacrosse at SDSU during his spare time (I think he ran track too). There are so many more out there that play both including myself. The two sports are actually very complimentary and they are played in different seasons.

And now I just read the (brief) article. It was Forrest.

I'm surprised that Forrest was wearing clothes. Wasn't he on Naked and Afraid?

You guys are silly. $15 for a bowl of noodles is outrageous regardless of how good it tatses. Open that place somewhere other than the public market, and it would be at least $5-8 cheaper. I'll stick with my $7 bowl of pho at Noodle City.

I can save you some time zappa. Way over priced. The food is tasty, but not worth the money. For me, money is a major consideration when rating food. Unfortunately, they chose one of the most expensive venues in town. If they opened up on upper state or Goleta, it would have been much cheaper.

But no video from the incident where the kid "hit the officer with a backpack full of bottles"? Interesting...

So that article basically says that they were looking for places to have permanent cameras. So maybe the DP ones were temporary and the IV Theater and Embarcadero Hall ones are now permanent. The area behind Embarcadero Hall is not a place that I would like to be in the middle of the night. Not sure if the IV Theater one is necessary. They also have some set up near Harder Stadium if you want to check them out.

I take it that you don't think the fence will be temporary? I say hold your judgement until after graduation. If they don't come down, then you will have something to gripe about.

They are all around campus. They are in areas that a dark or not commonly monitored by police and CSO. They were put up in response to the rape. I'm pretty sure I saw some of them on the path that circles the lagoon. So that's near the chancellor's house.
