I'm sure there are plenty of back stories to the issues that the public has not heard, but from what's been published, Moelleken sounds like his time, the court's time and the taxpayers' money all could have been much better spent, not to mention putting Jones, Conner & Chung through hell for sooooo long.
Hope Moelleken is out plenty!

Where will the Physical Therapy Dept. be located?? I've heard it has not been decided yet.Talk about an important part of a foward-looking hospital...with no location...It needs more space than it has now, not less!
Also, will there be any indoor seating for the cafeteria in the new bldg., or only outdoor?
How far apart are the new NICU and labor and delivery?

Those who do not work at learning to speak and read English are compromising their own future and that of their children.
Making a living with a job or two takes a lot of time...yes. But English classes of several levels are available at the Goleta Community Center and Wake Adult Ed Center many different days and hours...
Learning the language is the first step toward participation in the improvement of the community!

On the city college site, the board of trustees' page tells when each board member joined the board, but not when their individual terms end and they face re-election.
A reasonable thing to add, I'd say.

The story was about the "meet and greet" of the four who are challenging the incumbents. It was not a news story about every candidate running for a seat on the board.
And talk about years on the board and the need for a change - try Joe Dobbs...current pres. of the board. He has been on the board for at least 39 -- yep, 39 years.
