Taking its information straight from a press release, this story originally stated that the Montecito Board of Architectural Review approved the Miramar project in December. That is not accurate. The project came before the MBAR for conceptual review only, which according to board secretary Jason Moore means that no vote is taken; the boardmembers look at the concept and make comments. The comments at the December 17 meeting were mostly favorable.
