This article is pure pseudoscience, written by a medical quack writer who is spouting nonsense. There is no valid medical science to support magnet therapy, etc. The Independent is lowering itself to the level of trash journalism by publishing misleading and dishonest garbage like this.

"She explained that fire damage has affected the serenity of ShinKanAn. Now, Watika said, one can hear traffic passing by, noises that were blocked by the California foliage that once enveloped the teahouse."

Please - there was never any foliage that enveloped the teahouse! The fact is that there never was "serenity" at this site right next to Mission Canyon Road - the fire has not made much difference in that regard. This story is not at all balanced. The teahouse in this location remains very controversial, and this story reads like a PR piece written by the Botanic Garden.

great new picture - you are beautiful. i have a different take. what healthy food does he like? mac and cheese? p&j sandwiches? whatever it is make a big batch of say m&c, freeze daily portions, and give him the same thing every dinner. less hassle for you than trying to get him to like your cooking. he will come around eventually.

What does this big unstable structure have to do with the stated mission of the BG? For that matter, what do the new dog memberships and a big bring-your-dog-to-the-BG day with doggie treats etc. have to do with the BG mission? The answer is tourism - which is not in the BGs mission statement. The BG is going to tourism and the dogs.

loonpt: "Kids should generally avoid cannabis use or any sort of drug use since they are not fully developed."
This is the most important comment made. It has been shown that pot adversely affects the brains of kids who smoke pot on a regular basis. And the pot today is stronger than that of a previous generation.

Owen,
Thank you for writing this. It is a devastating account of the problems of the BG and the role of top management and the Board in causing the present crisis. You are right - nothing less than a new Board and new management can bring about the major reform and change in direction needed. How can this be achieved? I hope that your article will be the clarion call to the community to take action.
