On Obituary for David Andrew Jenkins

I met the Dalai Lama here in SB years ago . Rather than praise him and question him on life etc... I told him I don't have time and continued to run down to the surf for a couple of waves before sunset. He was very surprised to say the least! Funny how people flock to see him and ask for help and answers about life and spirituality when he was just a speed bump to me. He later said that watching my friends and I surf was the closest thing to peace and harmony he had seen in a long time and was completely stoked and wished people could appreciate such pure and simple things rather than struggle to fill their pockets with artificial happiness at the cost of others. I'd love to get him out in the water!

Pit Bulls are fine. The owners of these dogs however are a different story.

Not to mention all the runners who go to the hospital for lack of sodium in their system which can be fatal in some cases.

Living directly under the airport runway path on Fairview I'm glad to hear the crop dusters and millions of dollars in pulp they dropped did their job. Many thanks to the pilots in those funny looking planes, especially for performing the radical manuevers during their takeoffs and landings which was just a blast to watch.

Skating T-Bowls was one hundred times more fun than Santa Barbara's current sk8park and was definately heartbreaking when they blew it up. The only other place in SB that would have been comparable to the T-Bowls is the old sk8park at Golf n' Fun next to the old Bob's Big Boy between Hope and Hitchcock where car dealerships now stand. Someone mentioned flybowls but it was actually called Flyaway by me and my mates and is located in Goleta. I beleive that has been ruined as well after a resurgence in sk8ing.

I voted for the poor sods to have the right to marry, but the people of this state have voiced their opinion and you have lost. Stop the protesting as this is only pissing people off more, including myself who was in favor of same sex marriage. Gay people say its not their choice (which after taking many classes and having several gay friends might be 50% true in my opinion as most of it seems to stem from abuse and negative past experiences in childhood and early adolescense ). This would make it a chemical imbalance like many other things we have drugs for. When half this state is gay you might have your way but untill then enough already with prop h8 and the continual protesting.
