Probably an honest mistake. We always go to the one on Fig.
The people are so nice and the food is excellent. The acoustics aren't very good in there though, but it's worth it for the food.

Typical human, Parallax. Your guess is wrong, but you are right about being cynical. I don't expect you to understand. Compassion, and empathy are uncommon virtues.

Everyone is born with a "gift" to communicate with nature, the problem is... you lose it through society and influences of selfisness, hate and negativity of others. While there are frauds, there are also very real people who are very spiritual. I would not expect the person who made the comment about "snake oil" to understand. But I believe Laura Stinchfield is telling the truth. If more people would nurture their innate gift and have compassion for all living things, the world wouldn't be in such a mess.

What a Beautiful article written about your Mother. It must have been meant for me to see this today. Your comment about family and the sense of responsibility to care for another person touched my heart. My brother moved away at a time when our mom needed him most. (and me for that matter) I must remember it is an honor and a privilege to care for my mom, and to cherish every second with her, because your Mother is right..."Time goes fast".
Blessings to you.

I remember back in the late seventies- early eighties when the economy was worse than today and interest rates were at 18%. The country was falling apart but Santa Barbara's Adult Education was very strong. Was Adult Ed always a part of City College? I always thought it was independent. It seems that when I started hearing more about it being connected with City College, that is when Adult Ed started having trouble. Please put someone that knows what they are doing in charge. How could anyone say Andreea Serban is doing "A really great job", as Mr. Dobbs put it? Get whoever is the leadership out, Now, before we have nothing left. Adult Ed is a Fantastic program and it is sickening to watch it spiral downwards at a rapid speed.
