I also had Mr. Bates for my teacher back in the 70's also. He was one of the best teachers I ever had. Such a nice man. We used to love his class and all of his fun stories he used to tell. He was a GREAT story teller! I am so sorry to his family. What a tremendous loss. What a wonderful man.

Is everyone taking crazy pills?! What is wrong with putting this on the ballot and letting people vote for this? Read everything you can about fracking. It uses water that can never be used again, ( and I think we all know how unreliable nature can be with water) . Water is much more valuable than oil. You can't live with out water. The earth does not belong to us. It is on loan from our grandchildren. Stop the selfish attitude of destroying the planet for a quick fix now. I think we have done enough damage to the earth. It's time for some thoughtfulness. What is wrong with " Thinking globally and acting locally" ? Nothing.

Probably an honest mistake. We always go to the one on Fig.The people are so nice and the food is excellent. The acoustics aren't very good in there though, but it's worth it for the food.

Typical human, Parallax. Your guess is wrong, but you are right about being cynical. I don't expect you to understand. Compassion, and empathy are uncommon virtues.

Everyone is born with a "gift" to communicate with nature, the problem is... you lose it through society and influences of selfisness, hate and negativity of others. While there are frauds, there are also very real people who are very spiritual. I would not expect the person who made the comment about "snake oil" to understand. But I believe Laura Stinchfield is telling the truth. If more people would nurture their innate gift and have compassion for all living things, the world wouldn't be in such a mess.
