I sure hope they rethink drilling in the Arctic. Accidents happen. Do you really think this won't happen in the Arctic? This is Shameful, and the innocent suffer. Whether you believe in global warming or not...One thing for sure is that people are destroying the planet.

This is so upsetting. I sure hope this guy is sentenced to the maximum, and that the judge doesn't fall for his mother's B.S. This guy's is a danger to society
(two legged and four legged and probably winged creatures too.) How nice that he got baptized. Is that supposed to get him leniency? What a jerk.

I had him for my psychology teacher at Dos Pueblos many years ago. He was a very honest man, and one of my favorite teachers. I always wondered what happened to him. I am so sorry to hear of his passing. My deepest sympathy to his family.

Such a Beautiful person, and true educator. As is the person that wrote
the article for Dr. Ehernborg.

Why can't you just be honest? The News Press used to be a great paper, but no longer is, and hasn't been for years.
We stopped getting it in the summer of 2006. I really missed it. Sometimes I would go and get the Sunday edition, and find there is nothing in the paper. When I say, " I miss the New Press ", I miss what it used to be. Such a shame that, that woman was so selfish, and she took away our hometown paper. She might have alot of money... but that's all she has. The most important things money can't buy. She will never have class, or integrity. I no longer miss the News Press.

Thanks for the nice article! I happen to be one of those stupid people that used to wait in lines for the beanie baby bears. I always look at his beautiful properties and think to myself, " Yep, thanks to me, ( and millions of other stupid people ) he was able to get all of these prime properties." However he made his billions, he is a pretty smart guy, regardless of a college degree or not. I hope he does restore the old gas station in Goleta! He does a beautiful job restoring his properties. But I thought Wendy McCaw owned that?
Why do people care about his relationship with his sister? It's nobody's business. Isn't it just between him and his sister? I mean seriously...Is there anyone who doesn't have a dysfunctional family?! I am just going to say Thanks to Mr. Warner for all he has done for S.B. I even heard he was at a Dr. appt. and there was a person who he didn't know personally, and they had some high medical bills, and he donated money to the person. Sounds like a nice guy to me. One more thing... You are welcome Mr. Warner for my contribution to your wealth. You spent your money much better than I did.

I Love Lois Capps and will be voting for her! When we invaded Irag... She was against it. She was the only one with common sense. She is a wonderful person.

Very bazaar, and really rude comments, from some really obnoxious people.
Why so rude? I think Katherine Remak is a lovely women, and I enjoyed this little interview of one of our very own locals. Oooooooh, I get it. The rude people don't know who she is, and are probably from L.A.

I personally am grateful to Mr. Redford for supporting the environment. Thank goodness there is someone out there that cares. I grew up here and saw the 1969 oil spill. It was awful. We need to invest in finding new and clean energy.
Thank you Mr. Redford, I will be voting YES on measure P.
