Biography: I was a piece of chewing gum in a 17-year old freshman sorority pledge (Delta Gamma) in 1964, when she spit me out in front of the Varsity Bike Shop (still there!).
It's been the same sidewalk since then, and it's never been cleaned, so, I've seen it all, from the Red Lion and associated bo-hos to hippies to Edie Sedgwick to Jesus freaks to partiers.
You learn a lot about a person by the soles of their shoes.
