So happy to see a unanimous decision by the City Council on this issue. I can't tell you how often I have picked up a plastic bag blowing across the sand on West Beach or flying in the wind as I walk down State Street. Santa Barbara is the soul of the environmental movement and it is only appropriate that we take this small step to insure that our community is healthy for the critters that call this place home.

Some things are better left alone. Santa Barbara Municipal Airport is PERFECT! If the Council wants to honor Mr. Rickard - find something else.

Hope that Huguette's wishes for her beautiful estate on Cabrillo will be honored by her relatives. Preserving the estate would not only be wonderful for the Santa Barbara community, it would also honor her in perpetuity.

Such a great location with so much potential. The restaurant is extremely popular. It would be fun to see a yogurt outlet there. The upstairs area is hardly ever used and the bathrooms, which were recently updated, have lots of wasted space...presumably for dressing. Why not add mirrors and chairs?
