Had a little bike crash yesterday when I turned left into some unexpected gravel/sand and got some road rash. County, you should have had a flagman there to warn me!!

Concur with Jilly completely.

However, as a long-time cyclist, I also agree that this spot is treacherous. Since Erin only had 6 months riding experience, she was too inexperience to anticipate the danger. Heal quickly, Erin.

Thanks, Barney! Like Sue, I love the movie, and even own it. When we tried to find the cafe many years ago, we couldn't and now I know it was the "Sidewinder" at the time. Makes me nostalgic and reminds me how great an actress Marianne Sagebrecht is and that Palance was as gem.

Anyone seen "Rosalie Goes Shopping" with Marianne Sagebrecht?? Another gem.

CC, interesting statistics. Do you have any reference material that could be accessed to check those statistics??

We rely on Horizon and find this very bad news. They are a great carrier, with an excellent on-time record and good service. These flights are always full, so it is surprising that they are reducing their schedule.

This is wonderful news. Thank you to the hard-working members of Audubon and Eyes in The Sky.

So glad we don't have lawyers protecting game fish here........great article, and thanks for the chuckle. Personally, I think microchipping is a great way to go, but how can we force people to update when they move?

Great information. I only hope that those who might be "guilty" of purchasing a pet bunny for their kids will read your article and realize what a big responsibility it is........same with chicks. Please don't get a chick without understanding what that entails.

Amazing beauty there. Don't forget Telescope Peak, Wildrose Peak and the Charcoal Kilns when it gets hot in the valley. It can be 15 degrees cooler at the high altitude part of Death Valley. Also, if you have an off-road vehicle, check out Barker Ranch where the Manson Gang was captured..........
