I was very fortunate to have attended college in the 1950's. After serving two years in Korea, college offered a whole different set of challenges. In addition to pursuing academic excellence an additional challenge was to enjoy the college social experience.....toward this end, my personal high point was participation in a panty raid. I still have the picture, posted in the Detroit Free Press, of me climbing down a pine tree escaping from Abbot Hall on the Michigan State campus. Fond memories

Some basic Google research on State Senator Russell Pearce, the "owner" of this bill as well as other similar bills, might shed some light. While there, check out the AZ taxpayer's payout of $43 million and counting in response to actions of Arpiao's goons to people unfortunate in crossing their path.
