"His shooting has ignited a subdued storm of speculation whether his slaying was an intentional execution or just a case of the wrong person being in the wrong place at the wrong time."
Hmmm... Some moron from "The Crazy Wino Gang" gets plugged on the Eastside... I can't even imagine that it involved one of our beloved little gangster scumbags...

Oh no... This couldn't have possibly been gang related...When will we learn that we need to REALLY start cracking down on these little scumbags?

"I'd say if your so worried about beans and brains and how the dream act is not working out in your interest do something about it that is going to benefit your beloved SB community instead of sitting here and trying to be funny."- beach805
Yeah! That should have been "frijoles" for brains! Get it right!
Obviously, beach805 is just another one of those gangster appeasers. Makes about as much sense as the rest of them.

"Apparently when Marine grunt Salud Carbajal was poised to invade Iraq in 1989 that was not a "real job" for waz."- John_Adams
I was in the same 81's platoon as Carbajal. When WpnsCo, 2nd Btn, 23rd Rgmt, 4th MarDiv was activated to go to OKINAWA, they were there to fill the void that the Marines left when they deployed to the Gulf. There was never any intention of deploying the 2/23rd to the Gulf. He was never "poised to invade Iraq". And, as far as I know, Carbajal had already been off of active reserve for the better part of a year by the time the 2/23rd was activated some time around August 1990. I wouldn't believe too much of what Carbajal says. We didn't back then, and you shouldn't now.

"@etna what does my profile have to do with this topic? I have multiple screen names on here along with half the other people. Do you need personal info on me? Stick to the topic at hand. SBPD is known to police with a heavy hand know. Get over it. Wait till you see the footage of the arrest at velvet."- localsonly
"@localsonly well said. I find it funny how people try to blast others about when they join. As if this is some sort of club or something. Pretty sure its a public form open to personal opinions and debate. Oh and @etna go right ahead and post my date and how many time I've posted."- 805RunningCrew
You still haven't explained this weird little conversation you had with youself. And yes, I'd love to have a face-to-face with you, "little buddy". Who will be showing up? 805RunningCrew, or your alter ego, localsonly?

I can't wait to see those hemp fueled airliners, trains and tractor trailers. Give me a break.

"I mean; does he have a business or work for a capitalist corporation. Or does he take a six figure or two from those questionable socialist 'non-profit' activist type organizations."- DonMcDermott
You know better than that. The righties have businesses (that generate jobs and bolster the economy) and work for "capitalist corporations" (that generate jobs and bolster the economy). The lefties, when they're actually "working", are the ones who work for those bogus non-profits. They call themselves things like "community organizers" and "community activists" and have never actually had a real job in their lives, i.e., Barack Obama and Salud Carbajal.

As I said before; I drove a cab in Santa Barbara when I was in college, and never had a problem with the police. Most of the owner/operator cabbies, especially at the Greyhound stand, were very aggressive. They didn't seem to possess the ability to blend in normal society. They also drove very aggressively too. Some would drink. One cabby I used to work with was so drunk, that he entered the freeway going the wrong way, and killed a woman that worked at UCSB. Stop complaining, and abide by the law.

I stand corrected. If what you say is true, you must be armed to the teeth.
