Laura- if you are reading these comments, please take heed-
many local Dems - me included- do not feel comfortable
saying these things to you directly-
please sit this one out. please. we do not need or respect the "dynasty" concept. it feels like strong arming from the DC/DNC establishment, and
believe me, that is a turnoff. Consider running for local office - school board, Council, even First District Supervisor- that seat is wide open and no one- especially Das- should see it as owed to him.

apart from his obvious disconnect on the issue of wanting to vastly increase jail beds in the face of rapidly changing realities and laws, does Bill Brown have anyone who can just coach him on how not to interrupt and alienate all five Board members in one fell swoop? Watching the hearing is a cringeworthy cautionary tale for any public official

how on earth does one County employee- Weitzman- feel entitled to have "made an agreement that we don’t publicize who our donors are, at their request,” said Project: Rescue Flight cofounder Sgt. Gregg Weitzman. He is not authorized to make such decisions that are contrary to Government accounting principles--- unbelievable.

Bill and Joyce just cant handle the reality that crime has been reduced by changing from a "lock em up" mentality to one that reserves prison and lengthy incarceration for serious or violent crimes-. They cried that the sky would fall and there would be blood in the streets when AB 109 was implemented- yet the opposite has happened. Bill will play with statistics and inmate numbers to make sure his Taj Majal, way too big jail gets built. The public and the decision makers must demand accountability from these two and stop blindly doling out money to them

This is ludicrous- when people like Barry Cappello, Leo Martinez and Cruzito Cruz are able to blackmail this City Council under the guise of racial equality?! Not progress, my friends.

I wonder how many 2010-2014 prior SBCAG agendas, reports, plans and meeting videos these fans of Helene actually reviewed before signing the letter which was obviously penned by the spin team. they could compare all that she said and voted for and advocated for then vs her latest claims. But that's no fun, it's easier to ignore the duplicity and conflicts of interest and just be a cheerleader.
