As sad, and "offensive" as Lynn and Stanley found the challenge, the proof that she was not well, and clearly not well to continue running that office for the county and under county tax payers dollars, was her deterioration while in office, and passing. So, sad or not, life. and tough decisions are about practicality. Dudley is clearly the best choice. Good job, Indy Staff!

HBJ isn't doing this due to money (although she might be getting some on the side). She is doing this on behalf of her surrogate son, Das Williams, who "decided to run for the Assembly seat because of this deal" - or because he refuses to not live on taxpayer dollars and get a non-elected job - and after the news of the $100,000 paid by PXP to EDC, Das as well as EDC and many other groups and electeds who backed the deal now have egg on their face. This is where HBJ decides to weigh in, and save the day with her chastising- or will she?

what makes you think "Van Wolfswinkel is committing political suicide by how he's run his campaign"? If people vote his way, he will prove that dirty campaigning is still the norm in SB, only far worse.
I've a feeling this will only get far worse and for quite a season- I think many of his candidates will get elected, making 2010 a rough year for this political industry
