    THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN RENO HAS ISSUED A HIGH WIND
    WARNING...WHICH IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 PM PST THIS EVENING. THE
    WIND ADVISORY IS NO LONGER IN EFFECT.
    * TIMING: WINDS CONTINUE TO INCREASE THIS MORNING...PEAKING BY THE
    MIDDLE OF THE AFTERNOON.
    * WINDS: SOUTH TO SOUTHWEST 25 TO 35 MPH WITH GUSTS 55 TO 65 MPH. THE
    HIGHEST WINDS ARE MOST LIKELY NEAR SOUTH LAKE TAHOE... ON LAKE
    TAHOE...AND IN THE MARTIS VALLEY NEAR TRUCKEE. SIERRA RIDGE
    GUSTS UP TO 115 MPH.
    * LAKE TAHOE WAVE HEIGHTS: INCREASING TO 3 TO 6 FEET IN THE
    AFTERNOON...HIGHEST FROM MID LAKE TO NORTH AND NORTHEAST SHORES.
    * IMPACTS: STRONG CROSS WINDS AND TRAVEL RESTRICTIONS ARE
    LIKELY TO IMPACT HIGH PROFILE VEHICLES. LOCALIZED TREE
    DAMAGE CAN BE EXPECTED. DANGEROUS CONDITIONS WILL EXIST ON
    LAKE TAHOE AND SMALL BOATS ARE LIKELY TO CAPSIZE OR BECOME
    SWAMPED BY WAVE ACTION.
