    ABOVE 8000 FEET...
    * WHAT...Heavy snow occurring. Plan on difficult travel
    conditions, including during the evening commute. Expect damage
    to trees and power lines as well. Additional snow accumulations
    of 7 to 12 inches, with localized amounts up to 2 feet along the
    Sierra Crest, are expected.
    * WHERE...Mono County. This includes the higher passes along
    Highway 395 where wet roads will become snow-covered this
    evening or overnight.
    * WHEN...Until 4 AM PST Friday.
    * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Be prepared for significant reductions in
    visibility at times. Roads will be wet or snow covered. Any
    standing water on roadways may freeze overnight. Reduce speed
    and maintain a safe distance with the vehicles around you.
    PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
    Avoid travel if possible, you could be stuck in your vehicle for
    many hours. If you must travel, prepare for long delays and carry
    an emergency kit with extra food, water and clothing. If you stay
    home, have a backup plan in case of power outages. The latest
