    ...EXCESSIVE HEAT WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 11 AM FRIDAY TO
    9 PM PDT MONDAY...
    A Heat Advisory remains in effect until 9 PM PDT this evening.
    An Excessive Heat Warning remains in effect from 11 AM Friday to
    9 PM PDT Monday.
    * LOCATIONS INCLUDE...The North Bay Valleys and Mountains, the
    East Bay Interior Valleys, the Santa Clara Valley, the northern
    Salinas Valley, the Hollister Valley, and the Carmel Valley.
    * TEMPERATURES...Daytime temperatures from 98 to 105 except 105 to
    115 in the far interior valleys and at higher elevations.
    Overnight lows will be generally in the 60s in the valleys, with
    70s and lower 80s in the hills.
    * IMPACTS...HIGH risk of heat related illness, especially for
    sensitive groups: elderly, children, sick people as well as pets
    and livestock. This heat will also be dangerous to anyone
    without proper hydration or adequate cooling.
    * ADDITIONAL IMPACTS...Plan outdoor activities accordingly. Try
    to schedule holiday weekend activities in the morning or
    evening when temperatures will be cooler, and with less
    exposure to direct sunlight.
    An Excessive Heat Warning means that a prolonged period of
    dangerously hot temperatures will occur. Hot temperatures will
    create a dangerous situation in which heat illnesses are likely.
    Drink plenty of fluids...stay in an air-conditioned room...stay
    out of the sun...and check up on relatives and neighbors.
