    A late-season atmospheric river will bring several rounds of rain
    to northwest California today through Saturday. Rainfall totals
    from 2 to 5 inches are expected, with local amounts up to 7 inches
    possible along windward facing slopes.
    The first round of rain will occur today into tonight, as an
    organized rain band move into the area from the west. Heaviest
    rainfall is then expected to occur during Friday and Friday night
    as a weather front stalls over NW California. Precipitation will
    taper off on Saturday as the weather front pushes east towards
    the interior.
    Small stream flooding is possible by Friday afternoon. In
    addition, mainstem rivers are expected to experience rapid rises
    Friday and Friday night. Some rivers may reach monitor stage.
