    * TEMPERATURE...Daytime highs will range 100 to 106 degrees for
    much of the region with overnight lows in the upper 60s to low
    70s.
    * IMPACTS...Moderate risk of heat related illness, especially
    for sensitive groups: elderly, children, sick people, animals.

  • ...HEAT ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 11 PM PDT THURSDAY...
    * Temperature: Highs 100 to 110 in valley locations. Overnight
    lows mainly in the 60s except for low to mid 70s in the highly
    urbanized areas of Reno-Sparks, near Pyramid Lake, and in the
    Hawthorne area.
    * Impacts: High temperatures this week will bring an increased
    risk for heat-related illnesses, especially for those who are
    heat sensitive and those without effective cooling and/or
    adequate hydration.
