    .THE FIRST HEAT WAVE OF THE SEASON WILL IMPACT SOUTHERN
    CALIFORNIA THIS WEEKEND. THE EFFECTS OF THE EXCESSIVE HEAT WILL BE
    MAGNIFIED SINCE HIGH TEMPERATURES TOWARD THE END OF MAY WERE
    BELOW AVERAGE. HIGH TEMPERATURES WILL BE AROUND 15 TO 20 DEGREES
    ABOVE AVERAGE TODAY AND SATURDAY. COOLING WILL BEGIN TO SPREAD
    INLAND ON SUNDAY...BUT HIGH TEMPERATURES SUNDAY WILL STILL BE
    WELL ABOVE AVERAGE. WEAK ONSHORE FLOW AND A A SHALLOWER MARINE
    LAYER WILL BRING AREAS OF LOW CLOUDS AND LOCALLY DENSE FOG EARLY
    THIS MORNING FROM THE COAST INLAND TO THE FAR WESTERN VALLEYS.

    THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN SAN DIEGO HAS ISSUED A DENSE FOG
    ADVISORY...WHICH IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 AM PDT THIS MORNING.
    * VISIBILITY...LESS THAN ONE QUARTER MILE IN DENSE FOG EARLY THIS
    MORNING IN INLAND ORANGE COUNTY AND THE WESTERN SAN DIEGO COUNTY
    VALLEYS
    * HIGH TEMPERATURES...FOR TODAY AND SATURDAY...90 TO 95 IN FAR
    INLAND ORANGE COUNTY AND IN THE 90S IN THE SAN DIEGO COUNTY
    VALLEYS. NOT QUITE AS HOT ON SUNDAY.
    * IMPACTS FOR FOG...MOTORISTS SHOULD USE CAUTION WHEN
    ENCOUNTERING DENSE FOG. VISIBILITY CAN SUDDENLY DROP TO NEAR
    ZERO. REDUCE SPEED AND USE LOW BEAM HEADLIGHTS.
    * IMPACTS FOR HEAT...HEAT ILLNESS IS MORE LIKELY FOR THOSE MOST
    SUSCEPTIBLE...INCLUDING THE ELDERLY...CHILDREN...AND ANIMALS.
    * THIS IS THE FIRST HEAT WAVE OF THE SEASON. THOSE SUSCEPTIBLE TO
    HEAT SHOULD TAKE EXTRA PRECAUTIONS IF YOU WORK OR SPEND TIME
    OUTSIDE. WHEN POSSIBLE...RESCHEDULE STRENUOUS ACTIVITIES TO
    EARLY MORNING OR EVENING. KNOW THE SIGNS AND SYMPTOMS OF HEAT
