Bay Area through early Monday...
.A strong offshore wind event is developing and will last through
early Monday. North to northeast winds will increase this afternoon
and evening and reach peak intensity tonight and early Monday.
Strongest winds are forecast across the North Bay Mountains. Windy
conditions are also expected in the East Bay Hills and Valleys
and North Bay Valleys. Winds will decrease in all areas by midday

a Wind Advisory remains in effect until 11 AM PDT Monday.
A strong offshore wind event is developing which will result in
strong and gusty northerly to northeasterly winds through early
Monday over much of the North and East Bay. Winds will increase
this afternoon and evening, and wind gusts in excess of 50 mph are
expected in the hills of the North Bay by tonight. Elsewhere,
wind gusts of between 30 and 45 mph are likely. Winds are forecast
to gradually decrease on Monday.
