    EVENING...
    * SWELL...WESTERLY SWELL 12 TO 15 FEET AT 14 SECONDS THIS
    MORNING.... DECREASING TO 10 TO 13 FEET AT 13 SECONDS BY THIS
    AFTERNOON.
    * TIMING...LARGE SURF CAN BE EXPECTED THROUGH THE EARLY MORNING.
    SWELL AND PERIOD DECREASE THROUGHOUT THE DAY AND WILL DROP
    BELOW HIGH SURF ADVISORY CRITERIA BY THE AFTERNOON. HAZARDOUS
    BEACH CONDITIONS WILL CONTINUE UNTIL SHORTLY AFTER SUNSET THIS
    EVENING.
    * IMPACTS...INCREASED RISK OF RIP CURRENTS PULLING PEOPLE INTO THE
    OCEAN. BREAKING WAVES ALONG THE COAST WILL LEAD TO INCREASED
    WAVE RUN- UP ON BEACHES WITH WAVES TOPPING AND WASHING OVER
    LARGE ROCKS AND JETTIES. THESE LARGE WAVES CAN BE ERRATIC AND
    UNPREDICTABLE SO USE CAUTION NEAR THE SURF ZONE AS THESE LARGE
    WAVES WILL BE CAPABLE OF SWEEPING PEOPLE INTO THE FRIGID AND
    TURBULENT OCEAN WATERS.
