    .A LARGE AND LONG PERIOD WEST SWELL WILL BRING HIGH SURF TO AREA
    BEACHES TODAY...WITH THE HIGHEST SURF THIS MORNING. THIS POTENTIALLY
    DAMAGING SURF MAY RESULT IN MINOR COASTAL FLOODING AND
    SIGNIFICANT BEACH EROSION ON WEST AND NORTHWEST FACING
    BEACHES...ESPECIALLY NEAR THE TIME OF HIGH TIDE THIS MORNING.
    ...COASTAL FLOOD ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 AM PST THIS
    MORNING...
    ...HIGH SURF WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL NOON PST TODAY...
    * SURF AND TIMING...LARGE AND POTENTIALLY DAMAGING SURF OF 15 TO
    20 FEET WITH MAX SETS TO 25 FEET WILL SLOWLY SUBSIDE THIS
    AFTERNOON.
    * PROJECTED WATER LEVELS AT PORT SAN LUIS... 6.5 FEET AT 902 AM
    THIS MORNING.
    * COASTAL FLOODING...THE COMBINATION OF VERY LARGE SURF...GUSTY
    WEST TO NORTHWEST WINDS...AND ELEVATED HIGH TIDES WILL CAUSE
    MINOR COASTAL FLOODING IN LOW LYING AREAS NEAR THE TIME OF HIGH
    TIDE THIS MORNING. POTENTIAL COASTAL FLOODING RISKS INCLUDE
    BEACH PARKING LOTS AND CAMPGROUNDS AS WELL AS NORMALLY DRY
    HARBOR WALKWAYS AND NEARBY ROADS.
    * IMPACTS...THERE IS AN INCREASED RISK OF DROWNING DUE TO THE VERY
    LARGE SURF AND STRONG RIP CURRENTS. SNEAKER WAVES CAN SUDDENLY
    WASH PEOPLE OFF BEACHES AND ROCK JETTIES. SIGNIFICANT BEACH
    EROSION IS EXPECTED...AND THERE WILL BE A THREAT OF DAMAGE TO
    COASTAL STRUCTURES SUCH AS PIERS.
    * LOCATIONS...HIGHEST SURF ON WEST AND NORTHWEST FACING BEACHES.
