    .A LARGE AND LONG PERIOD WEST SWELL WILL CONTINUE TO BRING VERY
    HIGH SURF TO AREA BEACHES THROUGH NOON TODAY...WITH THE HIGHEST
    SURF THIS MORNING. THE THREAT OF COASTAL FLOODING HAS SUBSIDED IN
    THE WAKE OF THE HIGH TIDE EARLIER IN THE MORNING. THE SURF WILL
    SUBSIDE INTO HIGH SURF ADVISORY LEVELS THIS AFTERNOON.
    ...HIGH SURF WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL NOON PST TODAY...
    ...COASTAL FLOOD ADVISORY HAS EXPIRED...
    * SURF AND TIMING...LARGE AND POTENTIALLY DAMAGING SURF OF 15 TO
    20 FEET WITH MAX SETS TO 25 FEET WILL SLOWLY SUBSIDE THIS
    AFTERNOON.
    * PROJECTED WATER LEVELS AT PORT SAN LUIS... 6.5 FEET AT 902 AM
    THIS MORNING.
    * IMPACTS...THERE IS AN INCREASED RISK OF DROWNING DUE TO THE
    VERY LARGE SURF AND STRONG RIP CURRENTS. SNEAKER WAVES CAN
    SUDDENLY WASH PEOPLE OFF BEACHES AND ROCK JETTIES. SIGNIFICANT
    BEACH EROSION IS EXPECTED...AND THERE WILL BE A THREAT OF
    DAMAGE TO COASTAL STRUCTURES SUCH AS PIERS.
    * LOCATIONS...HIGHEST SURF ON WEST AND NORTHWEST FACING BEACHES.
