    BEACHES OF LOS ANGELES AND VENTURA COUNTIES INCLUDING SANTA
    CATALINA.

    EVENING...
    * SURF...SURF OF 5 TO 8 FEET WILL CONTINUE THROUGH THIS EVENING...
    WITH THE HIGHEST SURF EXPECTED ACROSS SOUTH FACING BEACHES.
    * HAZARDS...DANGEROUS RIP CURRENTS AND LARGER BREAKING WAVES ARE
    EXPECTED THROUGH AT LEAST THIS EVENING.
    * LOCATIONS...SOUTH FACING BEACHES INCLUDING LONG BEACH TO PALOS
    VERDES PENINSULA...MALIBU AND ZUMA...AS WELL AS PT. MUGU. SOUTH
    FACING BEACHES OF SANTA CATALINA ISLAND ARE INCLUDED AS WELL.
    * IMPACTS...THERE IS AN INCREASED RISK FOR OCEAN DROWNING
    ESPECIALLY WITH MORE PEOPLE SEEKING RELIEF FROM THE HOT INLAND
    TEMPERATURES. RIP CURRENTS CAN PULL SWIMMERS AND SURFERS OUT
    TO SEA. LARGE BREAKING WAVES CAN WASH PEOPLE OFF BEACHES AND
    ROCKS AND CAPSIZE SMALL BOATS NEAR SHORE.
