You just started working here, so please tell us — and our readers — a little bit about yourself. I was raised in Santa Barbara, attended Santa Barbara High School, Santa Barbara City College, and UCSB, and I’m lucky enough to still reside here with my husband — who I have known since Santa Barbara Montessori Preschool — my two children Bella (6) and Max (4), and our newly rescued pup, Sammy.
You’ve worked for other media companies as well. How have you seen the industry evolve over the years? Evolve? More like flip over on its own head! That’s the fun of working in media — every day is a new adventure full of surprises. Learning to adapt and grow with the everchanging times makes things interesting and challenging.
Any fun holiday plans coming up? Holiday plans this year will be pretty standard but always special. Making new traditions with my young children, while honoring family traditions of my childhood, will be the goal.
