THE AIRMASS AHEAD OF THIS FRONT WILL BECOME QUITEMOIST AND UNSTABLE...ALLOWING EXTENSIVE THUNDERSTORMS TOFORM...INITIALLY IN NORTHEAST KANSAS AND NORTHWEST MISSOURI...THENSPREADING SOUTH AND EAST DURING THE EVENING HOURS.IN ADDITION TO THE THREAT FOR SEVERE WEATHER...SOME OF THESETHUNDERSTORMS MAY BE CAPABLE OF PRODUCING HEAVY RAINFALL BETWEEN ONEAND TWO INCHES...WITH LOCALLY HEAVIER AMOUNTS.
