How to Make Sure You Receive Our Emails

Whitelist Our Services in your Email

Add our Email services to your address book to ensure email delivery.

Below we have a list of common email programs, and some basic instructions to add webadmin@independent.com,   sbindeals.com and inDeals@independent.com to your address book.

As we don't have thorough knowledge of every email provider, if your service is not listed we suggest you contact them directly, and ask how to "whitelist" -- that is, insure delivery of -- an email address.

Microsoft Outlook 2003/2007® Users:

  1. Open your email message.

  2. Click on 'Actions' located in the top menu bar.
  3. Choose 'Junk E-mail' from the drop down menu.
  4. Another menu will pop out. Choose 'Junk E-mail options.'
  5. Click on 'Add Sender to Safe Senders List'.
  6. Our email address will be automatically entered into your Safe senders list.

Yahoo® Users:

  1. Open your Yahoo mailbox.
  2. Click Mail Options.
  3. Click Filters.
  4. Next, click Add Filter.
  5. In the top row, labeled From Header: make sure contains is selected.
  6. Click in the text box next to that drop-down menu, and enter the address.
  7. At the bottom, where it says Move the message to: select Inbox from the menu.
  8. Click the Add Filter button again.

Window Live Hotmail® Users:

  1. Open your email message.
  2. Click on 'Mark as safe' at the top of the message.
  3. Our email address will be automatically entered into your Safe senders list.

(Gmail) Google Mail® Users:

  1. Open your email message.
  2. Click on down arrow next to 'Reply' on top right of the message.
  3. From drop down menu click on 'Add to Contact List'.
  4. Our email address will be automatically entered into your contacts list.

AOL® Webmail Users:

  1. Open your email message.
  2. Click on 'More Details' at the top of your email message.
  3. Hover mouse over the From address.
  4. Our email address is automatically placed in the email field in the "Add Contact" pop-up box.
  5. Add additional contact information.
  6. Click on 'Add Contact'.
  7. Our email address will be automatically entered into your AOL Address Book.

EarthLink® Users:

  1. Open your email message.
  2. Click your mailbox's "Message" menu and choose "Add Senders" to your Address Book.
  3. Your email message will be automatically entered into your EarthLink Address Book.

AOL® Users:

  1. Open your email message.
  2. Click on the "Add Address" icon.
  3. Our email address is automatically placed in the name and email field in the "Add Contact" pop-up box. Verify the information is correct and then...
  4. Click the Save button.
  5. Your email message will be automatically entered into your AOL Address Book.
