Sheriffs Seek Burglary Suspects

The Santa Barbara Sheriff’s Department is after two men suspected of stealing equipment from Milpas Rentals, 4321 State St., in late March. The two suspects, described as Hispanic men between the ages of 18 and 25, were caught on surveillance camera taking soil compactors, a concrete saw, and pressure washers valued at more than $7,000. Detectives believe the two entered into the Milpas Rentals’ yard by cutting a chain link fence, and a white minivan might have been used in the burglary, which occurred between 10 and 11 p.m. on Wed., March 28.
