City of Goleta Examines Fairview Gardens’ Improvements

The City of Goleta announced 9/10 that it will form a working groupcomposed of representatives from Fairview Gardens and a group of neighbors who live nearbyto discuss the organic farm’s proposal to include a poultry operation and farmworker living quarters on its premises. Neighbors have expressed concern about the sanitary conditions associated with such improvements, but Fairview Gardens appears willing to make any necessary revisions to its plan.
