The News-Press/NLRB trial may not be proceeding this next week, but readers can familiarize themselves with the Independent‘s coverage of this last week, which saw the end of the list of witnesses called by the NLRB and the beginning of the response from the paper’s lawyers.

Monday, September 10: Dawn Hobbs, quizzed by Barry Cappello on union motivations, declines to shout an obscenity in court.

Tuesday, September 11: Colby Frazier, Melissa Evans and Starshine Roshell testify. Starshine complies with requests to speak the profanity Hobbs declined to.

Wednesday, September 12: Evans finishes her testimony, followed on the stand by Karna Hughes and union organizer Marty Keegan, the latter of whom is the final witness to be called by the NLRB.

Thursday, September 13: Scott Steepleton and Yolanda Apodaca return to the witness stand; Cappello explains the schedule for the News-Press response to the NLRB’s charges.

Friday, September 14: News-Press attorney calls expert witness Daniel Sullivan, Travis Armstrong, and, briefly, Roshell again.
