Raytheon announced that its Goleta-based Tactical Airborne Systems division was awarded an $11.9-million contract to manufacture 13 radar warning receivers for a U.S. Air Force base in Georgia. It is the first phase of a production program to upgrade the existing systems to detect enemy radar emanating from potential threats on the ground or in the air.
