Rojas Retires

Richard Rojas, 51, the current superintendent of all state parks and beaches in both Santa Barbara and Ventura counties, announced his retirement this week. He managed the Channel Islands Coast District-which includes the Gaviota Coast-for the past seven years, but will step down at the end of December to spend time with his family.
