New Candidates Run for Superior Court Judge’s Seat

Since Judge Diana Hall’s removal from the Santa Barbara County Superior Court, attorneys Kevin Ready, Jed Beebe, Patricia Kelly, Lynn Cutler, and John MacKinnon have confirmed their intention to run for Hall’s empty seat. The applicants must declare their candidacy and file nomination papers by 3/7. Some requirements include residing in the county of election, being a registered voter, and a member of the State Bar for 10 years.
