The Santa Barbara International Film Festival announced last week that actor-director Clint Eastwood would receive the Modern Master award as part of the event’s 2009 festivities. Eastwood-who counts Unforgiven, Mystic River, and Million Dollar Baby among his best-received directorial accomplishments-will accept the award on 1/29. (/sbiff1126)
