• Did your yearly resolution to spend some time helping the environment on Earth Day “slip your mind” again this year? Redeem your relationship with Mother Earth by joining fellow Santa Barbarans for the Westside Neighborhood Community Cleanup Day this weekend. Volunteers are sought to help clean up litter, remove graffiti, clear overgrowth, and team up with other amateur environmentalists to make one of S.B.’s largest districts a more beautiful, eco-friendly place. Participants should meet at the Westside Community Center (423 W. Victoria St.). The cleanup happens 9 a.m.-noon on Saturday, April 25. Contact Antonio Velasquez at 963-7687 for more info.
