Bici Centro Hosts 11th Annual Bike Week Santa Barbara
This week is the 11th Annual Bike Week in S.B., a week that celebrates the rich history of alternative transportation in our county. Here are just a few of the not-to-be missed events during Bike Week that are sure to please cyclists everywhere.
• May 15: Bike Week Kickoff Ceremony with live music by area bands (7:30pm. Bici Centro, 801 Montecito St. $8-$10.)
• May 16: Beer and Bikes Ride for cyclists 21+. (2pm. Chase Palm Park, 223 E. Cabrillo Blvd. Free.)
• May 16: BBQ and Bike Show, a display of classic and radical bicycles accompanied by delicious food. (4pm. Bici Centro. Free.)
• May 20: Bike to Work Day, with free food and prizes for participants from the City of S.B. (7-9am. Meet at State and De la Guerra sts.)
