Man Soliciting Caregivers Charged with Indecent Exposure

After investigating reports of a Goleta man who soliciting the services of female caregivers in order to indecently expose himself, Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s detectives arrested him on June 5. He allegedly posted an ad on Craigslist.org requesting a caregiver to help him out around the house a few times per week. Three female victims between the ages of 23-34 said that he disrobed and asked them to help him masturbate as he did so on his own in front of them. While the last incident occurred on June 1, Sheriff’s detectives reported that they linked the man to two other incidents in March.

The man was arrested and booked into the County Jail on three charges of indecent exposure. The Sheriff’s Department is encouraging anyone who was a victim or with more information to call detectives at (805) 681-4150, or the Sheriff Department’s Anonymous Tip Line at (805) 681-4171.
