More than 90 airmen from Vandenberg’s 30th Security Forces Squadron prepared this week for deployment to the Middle East, where they will assist with current Air Force law enforcement operations in Iraq and Afghanistan. The length and exact location of the overseas tour is classified, but officials said Vandenberg units are the most heavily deployed in the Air Force’s Space Command.
