Cut-a-Thon Will Raise Funds for Two Local Dance Programs; BUNS Animal Care Network Seeks Volunteers.
• About Faces Salon and Spa (2273 Las Positas Rd.) is hosting a Cut-a-Thon on Sunday, February 21, to raise funds for the Gustafson Dance Scholarship Program and the State Street Ballet Young Dancers. A $25 donation buys one professional adult haircult and style; a $15 donation buys a children’s cut. Hand massages and children’s styling will also be available. • Bunnies Urgently Needing Shelter (BUNS) is a sub-organization of the S.B. Animal Shelter (4573 Overpass Rd.). The group currently needs volunteers to foster special-needs rabbits, socialize and care for shelter rabbits, and help with fundraisers and adoption events.
