UCSB will be hosting its annual student-run Reel Loud Film Festival at Campbell Hall on Friday night, May 28. A tea party will be held at 6:30 pm, followed by doors opening and 7:00 pm, and the actual festival beginning at 8:00 pm.

The theme of this, the 19th annual festival, is “Wonderland,” inviting participants to delve into the depths of their imaginations through the medium of art. It will consist of short student films, dance performances, and live musical performances, all produced by UCSB students. Included is an art competition in which contenders make their own personal visions of a “teacup in wonderland.”

The event will also host a silent auction and a raffle, to raise money for upcoming festivals and to a local charity. Tickets go on sale May 10th, $10 presale and $12 at the door. They may be purchased at the Film and Media department office or the Associated Students ticket office. For more information, visit the Reel Loud Film Festival website or email reelloudfestival@gmail.com.
