Santa Barbara Police Chief Cam Sanchez said his department is “working very diligently” to solve the murder of Samuel Bautista Justo, who was found dead in his room on 9/25 after police responded to a call to check on the man’s welfare. There has been no information released since police initially announced they were looking into his death as a homicide, and the department has been uncharacteristically tight-lipped about the alleged homicide. “We don’t want to jeopardize the case,” Sanchez explained.
