Stratus Media Group, Inc. is pleased to announce the successful completion and the winners of the 2010 Santa Barbara Concours d’Elegance.

The highlights of the Stratus organized weekend included appearances by Grand Marshal, Andy Granatelli; the Santa Barbara Mille Miglia Salute; a one hundred plus-mile tour of the California Central Coast with stops at three premier wineries- Firestone, Foley Estate and Lincourt; and the exclusive and thrilling VIP Halloween Costume Party held on Saturday evening at the Savoy, which included a silent auction, special performances by Aerial Acrobats, burlesque dancers, and the band, Gypsy Suite.

“The weekend was a great success for Stratus. We hosted a wonderful event that brought many different aspects of the community together and was warmly received by the audience and participants. The result of this is that the Santa Barbara Concours now has enormous support and potential for next year to grow in quality, size, and revenue. It has also positioned us with several sponsors for support of coming events we are planning as well.” Said Jeremy Cable VP of Motorsports for Stratus Media Group.

The coveted Best of Show was award to the 1937 Bugatti Coupe, owned by Ray Scherr. Runners up and Best of Class Awards were awarded to the 1929 Auburn Boattail owned by Aaron Weiss and to the 1913 Pope Model 31 owned by Bill Gularte.

The first place award for the “Rolls Royce/Bentley class” was given to the 1964 Silver Cloud owned by Sandy Guerra. The “Italian pre ’76 class” first place winner was a 1958 Ferrari GT 250 owned by Patrick McCoy. The “Italian post ‘76 class” first place was awarded to the 1999 Ferrari F350 owned by Jason Williams. The “European Sport class” first place was handed to the owner of the 1961 MGA Roadster, Marcelo Lopez. First place in the “Jaguar class” was awarded to the 1955 Jag XK140 owned by Dr. Bob Huntington.

Jason Hymes, owner of the 1961 Porsche 356 Roadster Convertible, took first place in the “Porsche class.” The “Antiques class” first place award went to the 1940 Ford 2dr Sedan owned by Jack Sanford. The “Mercedes class” first place was awarded to the 1953 Cabrio owned by Art Hadley. The “Vintage Racing class” first place award went to the 1913 Pope Hartford Model 31 owned by Bill Gularte. First place in the “Hot Rod/Custom class” was awarded to the 1940 Ford Street Rod owned by Jerry Quam.

The “American Sport class” award went to the 1954 Kaiser Darrin owned by Chris Paulson. First place in the “American Special Interest class” was given to Doug Moshy, owner of the 1969 Plymouth Road Runner. First place in the “Auburn/Cadillac class” was awarded to the 1929 Auburn Boattail owned by Aaron Weiss. The “Motorcycle class” award was placed on the 1915 Harley Davidson (with sidecar) owned by Fred Lange.
