When Fess Parker established his eponymous winery in the 1980’s, he wanted to celebrate a lifelong love for good hospitality, conviviality and delicious wines. In the wake of his passing, on March 18th, 2010, his family is newly committed to celebrating his legacy of cultivating a joyful lifestyle, while still delivering memorable wines to a wide audience.

His daughter Ashley Parker-Snider and husband Tim Snider, as well as Fess’s son, Eli Parker, are actively carrying forward Fess’s vision; that the winery he established with his family would bring distinctive wines of varietal character to wine lovers across America.

Ashley Parker-Snider serves as Family Spokesperson while Tim Snider serves as the winery’s President and General Manager. Eli Parker serves as Chairman of the Board and greatly influences the winemaking team, as well. He continues to inspire the winemaking program with his enthusiasm and quest for wines of further distinction and character. “We still haven’t had our best vintage,” he says.

It was also crucial to Fess that visitors to his beloved Santa Ynez Valley would have a place to taste good wines, sit down for a while, and visit with friends. To that end, the family is currently putting the finishing touches on their Estate Room; a separate tasting room on the current winery grounds that will further enhance and personalize the visitor experience. The Estate Room will feature wines from the estate program, as well as older vintages and special library wines. Coveted family memorabilia from Fess’s career will also be available for viewing in the Estate Room.

The core Fess Parker wine brands remains vital and dynamic. Blair Fox, esteemed winemaker, oversees both the Epiphany Cellars and Fess Parker Winery brands. Both brands have gained great critical acclaim, as well as market share. They are currently available nationwide, as well as in Canada and Europe.
