Winter is ebbing, and now is the time to plant spring flora. To help in your green-thumb endeavor, the Santa Barbara Botanical Garden is having a giant plant sale. “Part of our mission here at the Garden is to inform the public about the benefits of planting native plants in their own gardens,” said Bruce Reed, the garden’s Nursery Manager, in a press release. To that end, the sale will focus on California natives and drought-tolerant greens from the Mediterranean. The plant fest kicks off Saturday, April 2, at 10 a.m. and runs throughout the month of April in the S.B. Botanic Garden courtyard (1212 Mission Canyon Rd.).
