Sotheby’s International Realty Sponsors the 2nd Annual Hugs for Cubs Charity Golf Tournament

Local real estate firm Sotheby’s International Realty recently sponsored the 2nd annual Hugs for Cubs Charity Golf Tournament.

The event was coordinated by the Santa Barbara Association of Realtors (SBAOR) and chaired by Sotheby’s International Realty agent and Chairman of the SBAOR Events Committee JJ Lambert. A team of Sotheby’s International Realty agents played in the tournament.

The tournament is held to raise money to support children with cancer in the local community. Lambert and the SBAOR played an instrumental role in raising $24,000 for Hugs for Cubs in the tournament.

“I was very honored to serve as the chairman of this year’s tournament and work with so many great people to raise support for such a noble cause,” said Lambert.

“Sotheby’s International Realty has a strong passion for supporting local organizations and causes,” said Sotheby’s International Realty Senior Vice President and Brokerage Manager Greg Tice. “I commend the work of Lambert and the SBAOR and the powerful impact they have made in our community.”

The check was presented at the opening game of local minor league baseball team SB Foresters on Friday, June 3, 2011.

Sotheby’s International Realty has been a proud supporter of the Hugs for Cubs golf tournament since its beginning two years ago.
