With that in mind, the department would like to offer some helpful information in the event that you find yourselves in need of law enforcement assistance. On Wednesday August 3rd and Thursday August 4th, there will be approximately 147 officers deployed during the afternoon and evening hours for Fiesta related events. These officers consist of Santa Barbara Police Officers along with assistance from officers with the Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Department, Lompoc Police Department, Santa Maria Police Department, California Department of Corrections State Parole, Santa Barbara County Probation Department, Ventura County Probation Department, and California Alcohol and Beverage Control. On Friday August 5th and Saturday August 6th, the number of officers deployed for Fiesta related events will increase to 160. Most of these officers will be in the downtown corridor available for any assistance the public might need.

The Santa Barbara Police Department will also provide assistance at the Police Station which is located at 215 E. Figueroa Street, Santa Barbara. The Santa Barbara Police Department lobby will be open Wednesday August 3rd through Friday August 5th from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. to assist the public with filing over the counter reports and general police information. The police department encourages the public to file their reports on-line at www.sbpd.com. Visit the website to see which reports can be filed on-line. The Parking section will be open Wednesday August 3rd through Sunday August 7th from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. This is the section where members of the public can inquire about incidents involving towed vehicles and parking citations. The number for the Santa Barbara Police Department Parking Section is (805) 897-2360. After hours the public can call (805) 897-2355 for towed vehicle information.
