Body Found on Beach Identified as UCSB Student

Santa Barbara authorities have identified the man found dead Friday morning on an Isla Vista beach as 21-year-old David Propp, a UCSB student living in Isla Vista. Investigators believe Propp fell from the cliffs along Del Playa Drive, said a Sheriff’s Department spokesperson, explaining the incident is still being looked into. Propp’s family has been notified of his death, said the spokesperson.
