The ICF is the leading global organization of over 14,700 professional personal and business coaches and offers the only independent and internationally recognized coach credentialing program. By earning a PCC credential, Juli Shulem “Coach Juli” has made a solid commitment to the profession of coaching.

Coaching is partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential. Coaches work with clients in many areas, including business, career, finance, health and relationships.

Coaching credentials offered by the ICF benefit both coaches and consumers. By acquiring an ICF Credential, consumers know that a coach is creditable and has proper coaching experience. ICF Credentialed coaches meet the highest professional standards and adhere to a strong code of ethics. ICF Credentialed coaches must meet several requirements including obtaining a minimum number of coaching experience and coach-specific training hours. In addition, coaches who apply for a credential are assessed in their coaching standards and competence both orally and in writing by experienced, independent assessors under strict examination conditions.

Coach Juli Shulem has been working with clients who have difficulties with time management, organizing, prioritizing, and life management for nearly three decades. She works with individuals to help them become more efficient, less stressed and better able to manage their time to enjoy life more fully. She specializes in working with Entrepreneurs and College Students and those who need additional skills and tools to make their lives run smoother, and those who wish help in learning to deal with ADHD. Juli coaches around creating efficiency systems, teaching new skill sets, helping with time management, prioritizing, sequencing, scheduling, paper management, interpersonal relationships, and productivity to name a few.

Coaching students & business owners with ADHD is her passion, where she provides a combination of external structure, accountability and feedback. Juli helps a client take action on their intentions and make their goals a reality. She helps them clearly define and prioritize realistic goals, as well as anticipate roadblocks and strategize ways to overcome them when they come up. In coaching sessions together they create reminder & alert systems to promote self-monitoring and execution of tasks, set up external accountability and Juli can offer ideas on systems of organization should that be needed.

Juli’s website (www.coachjuli.com) explains more about her work and offers individuals information periodically related to her work via her blog. Here are a couple of comments from her current clients:

>From a Student Client…

I called Juli, had an over-the-phone session and my life began to change. Juli helped me reorganized my study space and helped me to eliminate clutter and to organize paperwork. She taught me how to schedule my time realistically. She coached me to better balance my life. I was able to call or text her at any time for support and for the first few weeks she would call me to make sure that I was on track and doing what I planned to do. There is something amazing about this woman. Her voice sticks in your head. I can still hear: “It’s not forever it’s just for now,” or “Schedule meal time and schedule time for yourself.” In Juli, I found not only an ADD coach, but also a life coach, a mentor and a role model for myself. She became like a second mother, a friend but also a coach who pushed me to my full potential and helped to alleviate much of the stigma associated with ADD/ADHD. My grades went from below a 3.0 to a 3.8 as I worked with Juli. I honestly think that even the most organized person would benefit from a session with this sweet woman. I can’t really put into words the impact that Juli has had on my life. She is a remarkable woman with a very special gift. —AE

>From a Retired Client…

I thank you for your gift of time, listening and words of understanding, yet challenges to make this shift in my reframing of how I look at my present situation. Your counsel to reframe my way of thinking and feeling is already working (in one day). I am already moving in a better direction. Thank you again for being a wise counselor for me at this strategic juncture of my life when I need to make a choice for health and well being from the inside out. I am grateful for your part in my life. —DH

Juli received her training from the International Coaching Academy (ICA) receiving her Certified Professional Coach Credential before receiving her PCC credential. Her coaching sessions, which are done almost entirely via phone or the internet, span across not just the country, but the world. Clients from all over, work with Coach Juli. Typical coaching sessions are about an hour once or twice a week depending on the client’s needs and requests. Many clients are referred from health professionals, particularly due to much positive feedback and her high success rate in working with individuals with ADHD. While there is never a guarantee, it is rare not to have some significant positive change take place. Juli’s mission is to offer gentle and understanding coaching without judgment or criticism. Her goal is always to motivate, educate and inspire at all times.

ICF defines coaching as partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential. Coaching is a distinct service and differs greatly from therapy, consulting, mentoring or training. Individuals who engage in a coaching relationship can expect to experience fresh perspectives on personal challenges and opportunities, enhanced thinking and decision-making skills, enhanced inter-personal effectiveness, and increased confidence in carrying out their chosen work and life roles.

The International Coach Federation is the leading global organization for coaches, with over 14,700 members in more than 95 countries, dedicated to advancing the coaching profession by setting high ethical standards, providing independent certification, and building a worldwide network of credentialed coaches.
