Waxing Poetic’s Sunday Funday will take place at their Summerland boutique located at 2350 Lillie Avenue, and is free and open to the public.

Join Waxing Poetic and Channelkeeper for this “Sunday Funday” from 12:00pm – 4:00pm and enjoy live music, an ice cream truck and, of course, shopping! Local Carpinteria Blues/Rock band, Deja Blu, will entertain with their blues tunes, while guests can indulge in delicious ice cream at the Sugar & Salt Creamery ice cream truck. Waxing Poetic will treat customers to a free cup from Sugar & Salt if they make a purchase, so shoppers can cool off with a bite of organic sorbet. Ten percent of the day’s sales will be contributed to Santa Barbara Channelkeeper’s mission to protect and restore the Santa Barbara Channel and its watersheds through science-based advocacy, education, fieldwork and enforcement. This event is free and open to the public.

To symbolize their partnership, Waxing Poetic and Channelkeeper have collaborated to design a unique charm that represents Channelkeeper’s vital objective of keeping watch and safeguarding Santa Barbara’s priceless Channel.
