This special event of the Dig Into Reading Summer Reading Program will be presented at all branches of the Santa Barbara Public Library System, and is best for children ages 5 and up.

The Santa Barbara Public Library System invites families and children to special free performances by magician Shawn McMaster on the following dates:

Tuesday, June 18 at Central Library, 2:30pm (40 E. Anapamu St., Santa Barbara)

Tuesday, June 18 at Goleta Library, 7:00pm (500 N. Fairview Ave., Goleta)

Wednesday, June 19 at Eastside Library, 10:30am (1102 E. Montecito St., Santa Barbara)

Wednesday, June 19 at Solvang Library, 6:00pm (1745 Mission Dr., Solvang)

Thursday, June 20 at Carpinteria Library, 10:30am (5141 Carpinteria Ave., Carpinteria)

Thursday, June 20 at Montecito Library, 4:00pm (1469 E. Valley Rd., Montecito)

These performances are part of the annual free Summer Reading Program for children and teens. Students are encouraged to visit the library, read books, and earn prizes. Sign-ups for the Summer Reading Program start June 11, and the program runs to July 31.

This program is supported by the Friends of the Libraries, non-profit volunteer organizations that financially support library programs and services.
